Chocolate Easter Nests

IMG_1016Hello everyone! Today I have a really simple Easter DIY! This project is great for anyone that wants to put together a last minute DIY project for the holiday. It doesn’t take long, you can do it with kids, and all the ingredients are inexpensive.Ā IMG_0998

You’ll need:

  • Cupcake Tins
  • 2 Cups/One Bag of Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 3 Cups of All-Bran Cereal
  • 1 Bag of Robin Eggs (We Used Whopper Robin Eggs)
  • Optional (1 Cup Marshmallows & About 1/4 Cup Milk)IMG_1009

Process: Melt your chocolate in a double boiler. We added marshmallows and a little bit milk to add some stickiness to the nests but you can do them with just the chocolate. After your chocolate is melted, pour it over the cereal and mix it together. Set your cupcake tins out and spoon the mixture into the tins. Add some eggs on top of each one and you’re done!IMG_1017IMG_1021

I hope you’ve enjoyed this DIY and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!IMG_1018

  1. YES! I made these a few years ago, and they were DELICIOUS! I bet we could make them for a wide variety of holidays, or just because and skip the topping. Great reminder – yummin!

P.S. Semi-Sweet Tooth is no longer on WordPress, so you’ll have to re-subscribe to stay in with all the fun. Hope to see you soon. šŸ™‚
