Guys and gals I’ve got a sneaky little secret to share with you today! Chocolate & raspberry tarts that are healthy, delicious, and require zero baking! I know, it sounds too good to be true but I’m not lying to you. They’re rich, chocolaty, and they are full of nutritious ingredients.
- 1 large avocado
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 4 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1 package of raspberries
- 6 mini graham cracker crusts
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional for sprinkling)
Process: Add all of your ingredients to a food processor. You can also use a blender but it will take you a bit longer. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and free of any lumps. Scoop it out evenly into you mini pie tins and put about five raspberries on top of each pie. Store in the fridge for at least a half hour (personally I like them to chill for a few hours) before serving so they are chilled. Lastly, sprinkle them with powdered sugar for a fun finishing touch!
I wasn’t sure how these tarts were going to turn out when I went into my kitchen but I promise you can’t even taste the avocado. If you really want to get fancy you can make the crusts instead of buying them from the store, but if you want to cut down on your prep time you can take the lazy way out like I did lol.
These tarts would make an amazing treat for Valentine’s Day or any day of the week that you want something sweet but still want to make healthy choices.
