Harry Potter Inspired Pumpkin Juice Recipe

DSC_0398I am so excited to share this post with you guys! Almost as excited as I am about Halloween!!! As you probably have already guessed based on the title, this post is a pumpkin juice recipe.

If you’re a Potterhead like me then you know that Rowling mentions this drink so many times in the books. She was so careful with the series, creating histories of the wizarding world, tradition, and even food and drink! The fact that the world of Harry Potter is so detailed is one of the things that I love most about the series.

I finally made it to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal this summer and it was an awesome experience. This pumpkin juice recipe is inspired by the juice that they served at the Three Broomsticks.

4 cups apple cider

2 cups pear juice

1/4 cup + 2 tbsp pumpkin puree

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp agave nectar or honey

DSC_0406I’m so happy with how this pumpkin juice turned out! If you like pumpkin and cider you’ll love this. It would be awesome for a Halloween or Harry Potter themed party or if you’re just feeling festive! You should know that when it sits for awhile the ingredients will start to sit but all you’ve got to do is give it a good stir!DSC_0401

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post! Halloween is such a fun time of year for me it has two of my favorite things horror movies, candy, and playing dress up!DSC_0409Stay tuned for a new Halloween themed post every single day this week!
