February Favorites

DSC_0041Hello everyone! I hope the month of February went well for all of you! It has come to an end and that means that it’s time for my monthly favorites!

DSC_0056I have been loving this adorable Forever sweatshirt. It’s an easy piece to throw on when I’m running errands, and if I’m gonna wear a sweatshirt it has to be cut and what’s cuter than donuts!

I have also been wearing this infinity scarf a lot recently. It keeps me so warm and I actually knitted it myself, not trying to brag or anything but I’ve got skills haha.

DSC_0074I’ve been pretty low key when it comes to jewelry but I have reached for these two pieces the most. One is a really dainty ring that is the shape of a twisted nail and the amethyst necklace is more of a statement and I’ve been pairing it with plain tees to give them a little something extra.

DSC_0082I have fallen back in love with a scent that I got last year. It’s from a vendor at Covent Garden in London. The scent itself is simple only having three notes: Musk, Bergamot, and Patchouli. It’s one of those scents that I have really strong memories attached to and I love spraying a scent and being transported into such a special place and time.

A few weeks ago I picked up the Neutrogena Oil-FreeΒ  Acne Moisturizer. I have such bad luck with daily moisturizers because I usually find that they are too thick for my oily/acne prone skin or they don’t moisturize it enough but this one is really great and affordable as well. The grapefruit scent is super nice and it completely sinks into your skin after a few minutes.

DSC_0094The last couple of things that I have been loving this month are makeup items! First I have the Laura Mercier Eye Basics in the color Wheat. Before I started using this I swore by the Urban Decay Primer Potion but this eye primer is so fantastic. My eye shadows look so much more vibrant and I have zero creasing when I use it.

The final product is the NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Glow. It gives such a pretty color to the cheeks and I think that I will be using this product a lot more once it gets warmer outside. The finish of the product is a true cream and not a cream to powder so if you have oily skin like I do you’ll need to use a setting powder, but once it’s powdered it isn’t a problem.

    • Great minds think alike Annie!!!
That scarf did take quite awhile to do so I don’t know when I’ll take on making another, but knitting is so therapeutic to do when you’re watching movies or tv.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you had an amazing weekend ❀
